, expected before Christmas, we are holding the following event:

Monday 10 December

12:00 midday (finished 12.30)

Parliament House steps, Melbourne (cnr. Spring and Bourke St)

We will be meeting on the steps of Parliament to send the Coalition and the Minister for Environment a clear message that the massive overdevelopment for Bastion Point should be rejected.

What an amazing Christmas present that would be – Bastion Point saved from becoming a construction zone in the New Year.

This week, is also your last chance to get family and friends to join you and the other 1500 supporters to sign the petition before it’s delivered to the Minister for Environment. Click here to sign.

We would love to see you at the rally, and the more ‘beachy’ or colourful, the better. Pack a beach towel in your briefcase, bathers, zinc cream, surfboards, boogey boards, anything that will make it more likely for media outlets to pick up the story. But if you can’t dress up, please come along anyway- a good crowd will be very important.

Bron Burton, presenter of Radio Marinara has written an excellent chronicle of the Bastion Point saga – read it here. Spokesman Leo op den Brouw will be talking with the Marinara crew, FM 102.7 next Sunday 9 Dec at 9.00 am, you can listen to the broadcast on the internet here.

Thanks for your ongoing support of Save Bastion Point! Don’t hesitate to be in touch on if you need further information or have any queries.
